Shelden Healthcare has been independently trading since the 1st June 2005. The two Partners, Dean and Michelle Greenwood are trained nurses with many years experience between them.

Dean moved into capital equipment sales in 1995 and worked for several of the leading market companies supplying pressure relieving mattress systems, hospital beds and medical equipment to the National Health Service and the Care Home market.

Michelle moved into a specialist Tissue Viability Nursing role where she developed a successful service providing advice and support to Healthcare professionals when dealing with bedsores, wounds and the selection of appropriate equipment within two large NHS trusts within the Midlands.

Shelden Healthcares early life commenced with Dean having a home office with a 40ft container to store Shelden Healthcares stock. We are now proud of our 4000ft warehouse and storage facility and instalment of a full laundry and decontamination unit (in line with infection Control guidelines and recommendations), for the cleaning and disinfection of pressure relieving mattress systems prior to repair in our main workshop.

We now stock over 200 lines of new equipment that we supply nationally to our customers in their own homes, care homes and the National Health Service.
